‘Time flies when you’re having fun’.

Amidst a very busy week of errands and applications, I sadly forgot to keep up my blog. In fact, even now I have little time to spare. However, with so many things to write about, rest assured that many new interesting posts about about to come.

For today I thought it only fitting to write a piece on ‘outcome independency’. A prerequisite for success, yet all to often ignored or underestimated. As I was thinking about what to write, I found a quote that is more powerful and to the point than anything I could put together. Indeed I am no match as this person is a writer, one with tremendous success, yet who had to deal with setback after setback. This person is J. K. Rowling.

In order to inspire fans and aspiring writers, she posted on Twitter a few of the many rejection letters she had received from publishers who did not see the value in her ‘wizard books’. When asked how she kept motivated she replied:
